Before two-three years, Guest Blogging is count as a good way to sharing High Quality Content on High Quality Websites that helps to create high quality backlinks for a particular website. And this will also improves the page rank, domain authority and page authority of a website.

Means we will put good efforts that is appreciated by Google for creating high quality content and we will gain attention too from our relevant visitors, but from past 1-2 years Guest Blogging creates lots of link spam because Guest Bloggers are putting a lot of links by using anchor tag on a keyword this will increase keyword stuffing and link spam or else low quality content in search engines.

And now, some of popular guest blogging websites approves the low quality content or guest blog on their website instantly without checking the quality of content to make money.

So now Google wants to provide most accurate and unique answer for every search query, and now Google target Guest Blogging to avoid spam:

Matt Cutts recently updated his personal blog and sharing the information that Guest Blogging is Dead for at least link building or SEO purposes.

His words are: Okay, I’m calling it: if you’re using guest blogging as a way to gain links in 2014, you should probably stop. Why? Because over time it’s become a more and more spammy practice, and if you’re doing a lot of guest blogging then you’re hanging out with really bad company.

Matt also sharing an example or describe it in brief that how Guest Blogging violates Google’s quality guidelines or else it is dead for at least link building tactic.

His words are: So stick a fork in it: guest blogging is done; it’s just gotten too spammy. In general I wouldn’t recommend accepting a guest blog post unless you are willing to vouch for someone personally or know them well. Likewise, I wouldn’t recommend relying on guest posting, guest blogging sites, or guest blogging SEO as a link building strategy.

Clearly now Google wants High Quality Content to makes their results par better so Google still penalize or down the Guest Blogs having low quality content/links on their blog or website. So make sure that you are using high quality and unique content that is able to describe your topic more gently and has informative for your readers/visitors or also you must create high quality backlinks for your website to avoid low quality links which will boost your page rank, domain authority and page authority to makes you trustworthy for your readers or visitors.

There is still a place for High Quality Guest Blogs because there are some benefits of sharing Guest Blogs because guest blogs can increase your exposure, branding, community, increased people reach etc. Whether, it is not good or dead for SEO Search EngineOptimization in terms of building links for your website. But it is Good to make your website or author viral.
