Facing problems while using Jio SIM in your smartphone, here’s the tips to solve all issues

If you got a 4G JIO SIM and it is not working in your smartphone, else, internet is working but calling not. We are giving tips to help you to solve the issues.

Just after the announcement of Reliance JIO, everyone is purchasing new SIM cards continuously to use the free 4G internet data. Every 4G smartphone owner is eligible to get the Reliance JIO’s welcome offer. In fact, people are waiting in long queues on Reliance Digital store to buy the SIM. Even in some places some sellers are selling the JIO SIM illegally in upto Rs. 1500.

Many users have brought the SIM or they own 4G smartphones too, but still SIM card is not working on their smartphone. Some 3G smartphones or feature phones owners also want to use the SIM on their smartphones.

We want to let you know that JIO is a 4G SIM card and supports only 4G networks or frequency bands. That means it won’t work on those smartphones lacks 4G network supports.

There are some tricks might be helpful and lets you to run the SIM card in your 3G smartphone, not that, it might be, not sure, and we won’t recommend you to perform those tricks, it can damage your device or else your smartphone can be dead.

Many smartphones are not able to read the SIM card

1. If problem is this and your smartphone have Dual-SIM card slots, then place the JIO SIM in the primary slot. Company is also advising to use the SIM card in primary or no.1 SIM slot.

2. Install the SIM card in the smartphone again and restart your smartphone.

3. If SIM card is still not working then maybe it would not work or support your smartphone.

SIM Card is readable, but signals are not coming

1. SIM is placed on the primary SIM slot, and then goes to setting to check whether the Mobile Data Connectivity is on or off. If it’s not on then turn it on.

2. Check your network settings to be sure that you have selected the primary SIM for data or internet browsing. If you’ve not done the same then do it.

3. Select or make the preferred network type 4G/LTE in Mobile Data or Network Settings.

4. If your smartphone recognises the SIM then select the access point name and save the JIO settings by going in mobile network settings.

5. Select Network Operator Manual and then select JIO.

6. If SIM card is not working yet, then maybe the Hardware or Software of your smartphone is not syncing with the JIO. You can either talk to the JIO’s tech support.

SIM card is working, but calling is not working

1. Download and install the JIO Join app from the Google Play Store. It contains 11 apps in it; install every app one by one. Hope you will be able to make calls by doing so.

2. Many people have smartphones with 4G LTE support, but that devices lacks or don’t supports VoLTE connectivity. Don’t be sad, you can make calls too, because now it becomes commercial.
